Early this year, UK-PLUG LTD pledged to get involved in a charity to raise money for children, After lots of different suggestions, we agreed to get involved with the Great Ormond Street Hospital. A close friend of our CEO, Mr Montor Ali, came forward to take up this huge task of running the Marathon.
Mr Montor Ali who has already attended many many Marathon's and worked with various charities was game to get going from the moment he came on the board. He had the energy and motivation of the team behind him and immediately the training and preparation began, getting ready for the big day ahead. The team began a big
campaign to raise money for the great cause at the @greatormondst. On that day, our team and many friends of Mr Ali turned up to cheer him on along with everyone who attended the Marathon. The atmosphere was vibrant, so many people from different paths of life came together to raise money for our children ❤💙everyone collectively raised £970.000 from the Marathon and expected to raise more over the next few months.
It has been an absolute honour and privilege to be part of this amazing charity❤💖 we are looking forward to next year's race. Hopefully, we can do it bigger and raise even more.
